Certified Executive Chef, writer and presenter, Cathryn “Chef C” has been polishing her culinary craft for more than 35 years. Overweight from childhood, she gravitated to healthy cooking early in her career and is now recognized as one of the Top Ten Spa Chefs in the Southeast (Southern Living Magazine 2002).

As the owner of Chef C, LLC she offers a range of culinary services to individuals and businesses in the United States and Canada. She has been honored twice by Spa Finders Magazine (2001-2002) for her cuisine at Hilton Head Health, a world renowned weight loss and healthy lifestyle retreat, and has been featured in several prominent publications including The New York Daily News and The Atlanta Sports Journal and most recently in the Savannah Morning News. Chef has hosted her own televised cooking program (WHH, Hilton Head) and has been a guest chef on NBC’s The Carolina Rhea Show (2003). Chef C has composed two recipe collections, (Recipes for a New Health Style, Sierra Tucson 1992 and Hilton Head Health Recipes 2001) and now publishes her extensive collection of recipes on her web site. She has been a contributing writer for Coastal Sport and Wellness and Zen Asheville magazines.

As a teacher, Chef C communicates her passion for super quality-fresh, local, seasonal and organic foods-through entertaining and informative cooking demonstrations, inspiring her audiences to abandon dreary dieting schemes and come join her in Celebrating the Nourishing Life! ® Ever on the lookout for creative ways to express her food style, Chef C has launched a new venture on Hilton Head Island; delisheeeYo Tart Frozen Yogurt and Super Food Snack Shop. At delisheeeYo the chef shares her simple healthy eating style featuring local, seasonal and organic ingredients for yogurt toppings, smoothies, juices and salads, serving a wider spectrum of the population including kids and the athletic community.

When not in the kitchen Cathryn delights in the surprise of life. She loves to travel and explore, play music, experience art and most of all, revels in the beauty of the natural world and the healthy activities surrounding her home on Hilton Head Island.
