The healthy breakfast debate

Daniel Bowers  and Wendy Wells, (Weight Management Specialist at the Academy 4 Wellbeing and 2012 NHS Nurse Institute Award of the Year for her work with weight management and obesity) discuss the importance of breakfast, to aid fat loss and provide a wide variety of different options to try, including access to their scientific nutrient analysed recipes designed by Chef C, Certified Executive Weight Loss Chef & Consultant for the Academy 4 Wellbeing.

Being over fat can put your health at risk, increasing your chances of developing heart disease, type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure and some cancers. We all know that.

Aside from the major risks of being over fat, the other benefits of 'healthy eating' are noticeable almost immediately.  You will feel better; less tired, have more energy and move a little easier.

So where to start with our healthy eating?  A good place to start is at the beginning of a new day with breakfast.

Most adults in the UK never eat breakfast. Do you? If the answer is no, does the excuse "I just don't have time" sound familiar? We often argue that we can't face eating too early or that we are too busy in the morning.

We know from research that people who eat breakfast are slimmer than those who don't, so breakfast is important in the campaign to help fat loss.
